Kathryn Bailey

Having a background in prestige beauty with Estee Lauder enabled Kathryn Bailey to fully appreciate all things beautiful. After several successful years in corporate America, Kathryn decided to pivot to her passion- creating beautiful living spaces. Working as an assistant at a prestigious Salt Lake City interior design firm helped teach Kathryn the ropes and allowed her to develop transformational skills in accessorizing homes with furniture, artwork, furniture spacing and more. Launching Bailey & Shamoun Interiors is a dream come true for Kathryn. Kathryn is married with three children- giving her the full understanding of a full and active household. She is a proud Northville resident and very active in her community.

Basma Shamoun Miscovich

As she finished her degree in Architectural Design at Lawrence Tech, Basma enhanced her learning by working as a designer for a major Detroit area tile supplier. While her passion was to create and design residential, Basma graduated and immediately went to work for a successful commercial design firm. Her background and experiences have allowed her to fully understand space and construction dynamics- something very unique for residential designers. Joining forces with Kathryn to launch Bailey & Shamoun Interiors has been a perfect career and personal fit for Basma- allowing her to utilize all her skillsets and work everyday with one of her dearest friends. As a married mother of two young sons, Basma is always aware of design needs for growing households. She is a resident of Novi.
